WorkTracker ("the App") is a workforce management application developed by Maciej Maliszewski ("we", "us", "our"). This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.
1. Information We Collect
When you use the App, we may collect the following information:
- Account information: name, email address, and role within the organization
- Work session data: clock-in/clock-out times, shift schedules, and work duration
- Device information: device model, operating system version, and app version for troubleshooting
- Push notification tokens: Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) tokens to deliver work schedule notifications
- Vehicle data: vehicle location and trip data retrieved from your organization's Geotab account (only if Geotab integration is enabled by your employer)

- To manage your work sessions and schedules
- To send push notifications about shift starts and ends
- To generate work reports for you and your organization
- To display fleet vehicle data (if Geotab integration is active)
- To maintain and improve the App's functionality
3. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on a secure server with encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). We implement industry-standard security measures including:
- Encrypted data transmission (SSL/TLS)
- JWT-based authentication with token rotation
- Hashed passwords (bcrypt)
- Daily database backups with rotation
- Firewall and intrusion prevention (fail2ban)

We do not sell, trade, or transfer your personal information to outside parties. Your work data is shared only with authorized members of your organization (dispatchers and administrators) as required for workforce management purposes.

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active within the organization. Upon account deletion, your personal data is removed from our servers. Work session records may be retained in anonymized form for reporting purposes.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data stored in the App
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Opt out of non-essential notifications
8. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for use by children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
